Some of the bosses are no easy feat in Rune Slayer. This boss drops 2 of the latest additions to the game, which are the Rune Slayer Curses and Blessings!

A tricky boss to beat!
Goblin King Quest
To pick up the quest, you must head to the treehouse village (Ashenshire) and speak to the Kliff NPC in the Guild area who stands by the Job Board. You must head to the caves within the Withered Thicket to search for another NPC called Issa, who gives you the Goblin King quest. From this location, the Goblin King’s Area isn’t too far!
Where to Find the Goblin King
Ready to fight the Goblin King? You can find this boss at the Withered Thickets within the Greatwood Forest. If you’re not too sure where this is, it’s close to the large treehouse area (Ashenshire), specifically to the East! If you already have the quest, you’re already in the correct spot, but if not, you’ll have to travel there.
Goblin King Rewards
It’s safe to say that the main reason why players are searching for the Goblin King boss is because it drops the new Curse and Blessing. The Eclipse Curse (also known as the Curse of the Dune Dragon and Cho Blessing (also known as Blessing of the Cho) are Legendary items, making them some of the rarer rewards from this boss battle. On top of that, it also drops a bunch of other rewards:
- Curse of the Dune Dragon
- Mana Cleaver
- Goblin King’s Club
- Merchant Ring
- Cataclysm
- Fighter’s Ring
- Goblin King Rune
- Paladin’s Ring
- Tyle (weapon)
How to Beat the Goblin King
The Goblin King has an ability that allows him to summon smaller Goblins that attack you and all other players involved in the battle. Make sure to defeat them quickly so you can start to put all your power into attacking the Golin King boss.
Due to the popularity of this boss right now, you’re more than likely going to have quite a few other players with you. This whittles down the HP but you still have to keep an eye out for mechanics! The second phase of the boss sees the Goblin King entering Rage Mode, which replenishes its HP and buffs its damage output.
