The TrueAchievements Game of the Year 2023 vote continues, and we’ve brought together 32 of the best Xbox games of the past year in a single elimination tournament that will be decided by you.Round 7 sees action-RPG Diablo IV take the fight to first-person-slasher Ghostrunner 2. Diablo IV has had more time to shine than Ghostrunner 2, having launched about four months earlier. Tom loved Diablo IV, saying in his first impressions that “Blizzard has knocked this Diablo entry out of the park.” It went on to be Blizzard’s fastest-selling game ever. However, the popularity of the first Ghostrunner game means the sequel had its fair share of attention too.We’ve decided to seed the games so that big AAA releases go in the top bracket with smaller indie titles in a second tier to try and stop two serious contenders from taking each other out straightaway. Hopefully, this will allow for an upset or two. As for Baldur’s Gate 3: it’s not on Xbox yet, but it will be soon.
