The initial agreement was unveiled in April 2020, when Rogue’s LEC roster joined forces with Kia to create a range of video content involving its players. As part of the renewed partnership, the new content is said to ‘highlight Rogue’s unique player personalities through inspired storytelling’.
Michael Khoo, Head of Brand Experience at Kia Motors, spoke on the deal in a release: “Rogue has already proven that they go above and beyond when it comes to creating exceptional and highly engaging content with authentic brand integration, and we look forward to surprising and entertaining esports fans once again in 2021.”
With this renewed partnership, Rogue has several partners on its roster, including HyperX, the educational foundation Find Your Grind, and others through its parent company ReKTGlobal.

We both believe in innovation and inspiration as the driving force to be the best. We cannot wait to dive deeper into the stories of our esports athletes, which we hope will inspire all esports enthusiasts.”
Esports Insider says: Considering the success of Rogue and Kia’s initial collaboration in 2020, it’s no surprise to see the two parties continue their partnership into 2021. Automotive esports partnerships have become more common in recent years, and Kia has been active in the space for quite some time.
