It’s time to get spooky over on Roblox, as the platform’s newest event, entitled ‘The Haunt’, a ghoulish get-together where participants play some of the classic games, and get to play the part of amateur photographer. In our Roblox The Haunt guide, we outline the important bits of the event and what you need to do to make the most of it while it’s here.

Roblox The Haunt Guide
Let’s explain.
Accessing The Haunt
You access the main hub of The Haunt through the specially-built hub experience. You can access it directly through our handy Roblox link here! The hub itself isn’t the only place with the spirit of The Haunt though, as its ghastly influence has invaded some of the beloved games across Roblox. Keep an eye out for our list of them!
What Do You Do In The Haunt?
The Haunt is divided into two parts, broadly.
The Screenshot Contest
It’s time to show off your most creative costume in the contest! Entering is as simple as submitting a screen capture that suits the day’s theme. Here are the themes we know so far.
- Day 1 – Creature
- Day 2 – Cute
- Day 3 – Villains
- Day 4 – Orange
- Day 5 – Scary
If you win, or snag runner-up in a category, you get a special avatar item as a prize, to show the world your victory.
It’s not just entrants that get the goodies though. For every day you call into the hub and vote on at least five entries, you get a special avatar item, too! We love the shoulder ravens item, Day 2 is going to be a must for us.
The Hub Games
There are various games to complete around the Hub area, with special power up items up for grabs. As of our last check, only the Cemetary bit was open, but more are set to unlock at the event goes on. We’ll add them as they appear!
Day 1 – The Cemetery
- Head straight through the manor, out to the big statue of The Horseman, and turn left. You should see the Cemetery and two shovels. Head over to one to pick it up. Now it’s time to do a bit of grave robbing.
- Find graves hidden all around the area and dig them up with a shovel. In one, you’ll find the Pure Light Lantern. Others just have dirt in. Some… well we don’t want to spoil the surprise.
Day 2 – The Maze
- Turn right at the statue of The Horseman this time and follow the path to the entrance of the hedge maze.
- This place is a large and confusing set of paths, infested with zombie animals that like to hop onto you and slow you down.
- The easiest way to conquer it is to use the age-old maze trick. Keep hugging the left-hand wall and follow it the whole way. Eventually this will drop you into an area with a plinth in the center. Interact with that to get the Golden Key necklace, which lets you into a teleporter room when used.
