Struggling with stats? This Roblox Seaside Stats guide tells you how to prioritise your points, what each option controls and the best stat build to have!

Play this Web Fishing-inspired game on Roblox. If you’re a fan of fishing simulators, you may also like our Fisch Weather Guide and Fisch Aurora Rod Guide.

Players control their stats from a menu at the top of the game screen which appears as a button with a small clipboard labelled ‘Stats’. Here, it displays the Stat Point allowance, each option and a reset button at the bottom. Fulfilling your stats anytime you earn points through levelling up and general gameplay is key to finding higher-rarity fish.

Ideally, you’ll want to balance your stats to maximise potential, and no two stat builds between players look the same. They’re fully customisable depending on what you prioritise during gameplay. Plus, if you change your mind about your current build, a wipe only costs 1,000 Fishbux or 249 Robux. (Don’t worry, you regain your stat points when resetting!).

What Each Stat Controls

Let’s get into the gist of it if you’re unsure how to input your stats!

  • Luck: Overall luck boost to encounter up higher rarity fish.
  • Fish Size: Increases the size of fish encounters.
  • Fish Speed: How quickly the fish move up and down during the catch minigame.
  • Less Trash: Reduces the chance of encountering and fishing up trash objects.
  • Modifier Chance: Increases your chance of fishing up a Modifier.
  • Catch Speed: How quickly the progress bar fills to complete the catch.
  • Resilience: How often the green alert bars appear during the catch minigame.

Best Stat Build

Truthfully, there isn’t a default ‘Best Build’ as every player has a different goal in mind and a different rod! Since Seaside allows for rod customisation with each part having a different favourable stat, it’s recommended to consider this when balancing your Stats to double your gains!

For example, newer players after making money fast might prioritise keeping invaluable trash away. An early game Line Upgrade includes the Recycled Line which lowers the chances of trash encounters. This stacked with points into the Less Trash stat will mean more fish snag the line and little to no trash catches!
