After revealing their LoL goals through a blog post for the upcoming year, Riot’s dev team has shed light on some of the upcoming and ‘already-there’ changes to Ranked and Jungle in 2023. Shift jungle complexity into more rewarding and meaningful areas as Riot looks to make junglers less reliant on their teammates in the coming year. On top of those changes, Riot’s League team also plans to increase the skill floor of the jungle role to make the jungle autofill process a more easier experience.
Players should also note that League of Legends will have two Ranked resets in Season 2023. Split 1 will start in in January, while Split 2 will start sometime during “the middle of the year.” (The exact start date for Split Date is yet to be revealed)
The blog post also notifies players that Patch dates can change at any time for any number of reasons. “We recommend checking this page a day or two before a patch to see if it’s moved. If a patch is delayed within 48 hours of its scheduled date, we’ll put an alert at the top of this page.” On the other hand, League of Legends fans can view the official blog post on the game’s support page by clicking here.
