We’ll likely see the last batch of Remnant 2 achievements arrive later this month as Remnant 2’s final DLC and a free update roll out on September 24. The Dark Horizon will be the third DLC for the Xbox RPG, arriving alongside a new Boss Rush game mode, which will be free for all players.The Dark Horizon DLC and free Boss Rush mode roll out for Remnant 2 this monthThe Dark Horizon introduces a fresh storyline to Remnant 2 as we explore a “mysterious place preserved in time, where alien farmlands are tended by robots for inhabitants who have long since perished.” Our journey through the land of N-Erud will feature new dungeons to explore, a new Glider travel system, a plethora of new items and weapons, and a fresh Archetype: The Warden — and its Drone companion! Of course, it wouldn’t be a Remnant 2 DLC without some new bosses and enemies to battle, including robotic creations and rogue AI. As for the free Boss Rush update, it adds a new game mode for all Remnant 2 players, taking you straight to the game’s bosses for an epic showdown. Three difficulties will be available: Triple Threat, Trial by Fire, and The Gauntlet, which include three bosses, seven bosses, and 19 bosses, respectively. You’ll be able to take on the bosses and hordes of enemies in a single-player or with your pals. It’ll arrive as part of a major update, which packs in quality-of-life improvements, a new Prism system, and more. While Gunfire Games hasn’t mentioned if the upcoming content will include new Xbox achievements, Remnant 2’s last two expansions have included five new Remnant 2 achievements each, so we expect The Dark Horizon to be the same.Remnant 2 is available in the Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass libraries.
