Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi will soon launch the Redmi Note 8 2021 to celebrate the sale of 25 million units of the original Note 8 globally, and it recently revealed that the Note 8 2021 will pack a waterdrop notch display, which it has now confirmed will measure 6.3″ diagonally.
Additionally, Redmi said that the Note 8 2021 will be powered by the Helio G85 SoC and sport a quad camera on the back with the primary shooter using a 48MP sensor. Redmi doesn’t tell us anything about the rest of the modules, but previous reports claim it will be joined by ultrawide, macro, and depth units whose resolutions are currently unknown.
One of the images shared by Redmi also reveals the Note 8 2021 will feature a rear-mounted fingerprint reader and shows the phone in two colors.
