Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi unveiled the Helio G85-powered Redmi 12C last December, and the company is expected to introduce the vanilla Redmi 12 soon. The Chinese brand hasn’t divulged the Redmi 12’s launch date yet, but its Portuguese division mistakenly listed the smartphone on its official website, revealing its specs, design, and price.
The listing has been taken down, but thanks to Twitter user @kacskrz and German blog WinFuture, we know what the Redmi 12 will offer.
The Redmi 12 will pack a 6.79″ FullHD+ 90Hz LCD with a punch hole in the center for the 8MP selfie camera. And around the back, it will sport a triple camera setup comprising 50MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro/depth units.

Powering the Redmi 12 will be a Helio G88 SoC paired with 4GB/8GB RAM. Storage will be 128GB/256GB, with an option to expand it up to 1TB via a microSD card. The smartphone will have a 5,000 mAh battery under the hood, charged through a USB-C port at up to 18W (instead of rumored 33W).

The rest of the Redmi 12’s highlights include an IP53 rating, NFC, an IR Blaster, and Bluetooth 5.3. The 4G smartphone will be 8.17mm thick and weigh 198.5g.

The Redmi 12 will have at least three color options. And while WinFuture claims it will be priced at €199, Xiaomi Portugal’s website revealed it will cost €209.99. We believe €199 will be the price of the base model having 4GB RAM and 128GB storage.
