Xbox Series X|S and PC install sizes for Redfall have been revealed, and you can now pre-install the game ahead of its launch next week — including the Vampire Hunter Pack DLC.With only five days left until the Redfall release date on Tuesday, May 2nd, players on Xbox Series X|S and PC, as well as those of you subscribed to Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass, can now prepare for the fight by pre-installing the game. Redfall install sizes revealed for Xbox Series X|S and PCRedfallThe town of Redfall is under siege by a legion of vampires who have cut the island off from the outside world. Trapped with a handful of survivors, slay alone or squad up in open-world FPS action. If you’re looking to play Redfall when it launches on Tuesday, now might be the best time to get it installed on your platform of choice, as it’s not the smallest of file sizes. The base version of Arkane’s vampire-hunting FPS weighs in at around 77GB on Xbox Series X, while the Xbox Series S has a more manageable size of around 40GB. Those of you looking to play on PC, though, will need to set aside roughly 103GB if you fancy hopping in. On top of that, if you’ve preordered Redfall or have an Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass subscription, the Vampire Hunter Pack can also be downloaded for an additional 10MB or so. The DLC offers a few extra in-game items: Grim Tide Shotgun, Polar Vortex Multi-weapon skin, and Blood Ravager Stake weapon attachment. Naturally, these sizes don’t account for the day-one patch, if there is one of course. It was recently revealed that Redfall won’t launch with a 60fps Performance Mode, and will only offer a 30fps Quality mode on Xbox Series X|S. A patch is planned for a later date, but if that’s not going to stop you from jumping in on day one, you might want to check out the new Redfall Limited Edition Xbox controllers and Redfall Dynamic Background, which are sure to give your gaming setup an unholy makeover.Do you plan on jumping into Redfall when it arrives next week? Or will you be holding out for the Performance Mode update? Drop down below and let us know!
