Realme introduced its new flagship today – say hello to the GT7 Pro! The Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered phone brings the world’s first underwater photography mode. The phone also comes with a massive battery and one of the brightest displays on the market.

Realme GT7 Pro comes with a 6.78″ Eco2 OLED Plus display, developed by Samsung. It is said to be the industry’s lowest power consumption display. Peak brightness is said to reach 6,000 nits, which is another milestone. A 16 MP camera sits inside the display’s punch hole.

Around the back the Realme GT7 Pro has a 50 MP main camera with OIS and a Sony IMX906 sensor that is 1/1.56″ in size and has a f/1.8 aperture in front.

The telephoto camera has a 50 MP Sony IMX882 sensor (1/1.95″ size), an f/2.65 lens and OIS. The ultrawide shooter is the same as the GT5 Pro – 8 MP Sony IMX355 sensor (1/4″) with f/2.2 lens.

Since the GT7 Pro is IP68/69 certified for water and dust resistance, Realme also developed a dedicated underwater photography mode, so you can use it as an action camera.

The phone runs Realme UI 6.0, based on Android 15 with a number of AI features. Sketch to Image, Motion Deblur and AI Snap Mode will boost your photography and image editing, while Game Super Resolution and Gaming Super Frame aim to enhance gaming.

The Realme GT7 Pro’s battery is another highlight with its 6,500 mAh capacity – the most for a Realme phone ever. It supports 120W SuperVOOC charging over wire, which is nowhere near the 240W rates of GT3 or 150W of GT5, but is still very impressive in the grand scheme of things.

Realme GT7 Pro comes in Mars Orange and Galaxy Grey colors, and there is also a White version, which will remain exclusive for China. The domestic variant has five different memory combinations, the cheapest being 12/256 GB at CNY3,599 (about $505/€465).

The phone is expected to go international later this month. It’s only then that we’ll find out how much the phone will cost around the world.
