Rainbow Six Extraction, which eager Rainbow Six fans were hoping to be playing in September of this year has been delayed into January 2022, an announcement that developer and publisher Ubisoft made via their official website through a blog post earlier today. The news was titled ‘An Update On Rainbow Six Extraction’, which after a year of game delays now feels like a trademark that comes along with these messages. The announcement itself was very short, and stressed that Ubisoft will take the extra time as an opportunity to “bring this vision to life in the way it deserves.”“Our ambition with Rainbow Six Extraction is to deliver a full-fledged AAA experience that changes the way you play and think about cooperative games…We are confident this will ensure Rainbow Six Extraction is the immersive, cooperative, and thrilling experience we set out to create, and the one you aspire to play.”There was no further word on when we would hear more, just that they are excited to share more when they can. Delays are never fun to hear about as a player, though as SIE head Jim Ryan said himself, “It is better to wait and have a great game than to rush and have a game that is okay or quite good.”Source – [Ubisoft]
