Ubisoft has announced that Rainbow Six Extraction has been delayed and will not launch this year. The multiplayer shooter will instead release in January 2022. In a short statement over on Ubisoft’s website, the dev team says its ambition for Rainbow Six Extraction “is to deliver a full-fledged AAA experience that changes the way you play and think about cooperative games” and that the team needs more time to “bring this vision to life.” Just last month, Ubisoft announced a September 16th release date for Rainbow Six Extraction during its E3 showcase, Ubisoft Forward. Now, with today’s news, it means the multiplayer shooter won’t launch for an additional four months. Rainbow Six Extraction will now launch in January 2022.
