A new Quantum Error teaser trailer has dropped, showing a WIP running in Unreal Engine 5 on the PS5. It’s the first look we’ve had at the cosmic-horror game for some time, which has us facing an “unknown entity.”We play as Captain Jacob Thomas, who is sent with a crew to the Monad Quantum Research Facility after the facility sent a distress call to the Garboa Fire Department in San Francisco. We’re meant to save as many people as possible, but things become a little trickier when we get there and find out that “things are not as they appear.” The facility has been attacked by an “unknown entity” — which we seem to catch a few glimpses of in the trailer above — and everything has descended into chaos.Quantum Error is set to launch for Xbox Series X|S and PS5, although we don’t yet have a release date — we’ll be sure to update you when one is announced.
