Monsters: PvP Arena is a game that mixes ideas from a bunch of other games and then showers them in some midcore slosh. You’re a monster and you need to kill some survivors to complete the level, or smash some other monsters in the PvP mode.
It’s a solid experience, but if you want to be the best at it you’re going to need some help. And that’s exactly why we’ve written this guide. It’s packed full of the finest strategies we’ve picked up during our time playing Monsters: PvP Arena and now we’re only too happy to pass them along to you.
It doesn’t matter if you’ve already unlocked some new beasts or you’re just chasing your first victim, there’s going to be something here to take your skills up a notch. These are the best hints, tips and tricks for Monsters: PvP Arena.
Look for the loot
Don’t just chase down your prey and get the level over and done with. Their are loot crates on the levels that will give you some extra gold if you smash them. Make sure you’ve picked up all of them before you capture your last victim. Don’t leave gold on the battlefield.
Always be upgrading
Whenever you’ve got enough cash you should spend it on upgrading your skills. You can do that at the start of every level. Try and spread the gold around evenly and don’t just focus on a single attribute. This is the best way to spend the coins you collect.
Try the PvP
While we’re a bit dubious about the PvP mode actually featuring other players, it’s worth dipping into it every now and then because you’ll earn a decent amount of coins for doing it. It’s behind a video wall, unfortunately, so don’t make it your focus, but it’s worth playing every so often for the cash boost.
Learn what the boosts do
You can pick different moves at the start of every level. Usually there’s one that’s free and two you need to pay for or watch a video in order to unlock. Learn what these do, and how you can use them to augment your play style. The one that adds extra gold to the loot boxes is our personal favorite.
Check the arrows
The arrows at the edge of the screen will show you where your enemies are. It’s particularly useful when you’ve killed most of them and you’re trying to hunt down a single survivor. Use the arrows and you’ll be able to track and butcher them in no time flat.
