Pumpkin Jack getting free Xbox Series X|S upgrade, achievements also to be fixed soon

The 3D platformer Pumpkin Jack is getting a free Xbox Series X|S upgrade on October 27th, and publisher Headup has confirmed that the game’s achievements will be fixed when the Xbox Series X|S version launches next month. According to Headup, Pumpkin Jack will feature a Performance Mode on Xbox Series X|S consoles that will target 4k resolution at 60fps. On just the Xbox Series X, the game will have a Quality Mode that targets 4K at 30fps with ray tracing and other “higher-quality effects and shadows.” Of course, if you already own Pumpkin Jack on Xbox One, you’ll automatically get access to the Xbox Series X|S version of the game when it launches next month. As it stands, Pumpkin Jack has two broken achievements: the Full Closet achievement, which has been discontinued, and the Official Groupie achievement, which is partly discontinued. Headup has confirmed to me that both of these achievements will be fixed when the Series X|S version rolls out to players on October 27th. Pumpkin Jack New-Gen Edition launches on October 27th for Xbox Series X|S and PS5.
