Preorders for the PS5 Slim have gone live in the UK as Sony unveils plans to release the console in the region on November 29, 2023.The PS5 Slim has already been available in the US since earlier this month, and will finally begin rolling out in the UK next week. You can now preorder the console at PlayStation Direct, as well as various other retailers as seen below.PS5 Slim Standard Edition PS5 Slim Digital Edition The original launch version of the PS5 will be phased out once stock is depleted, with the PS5 Slim being the standard version of the console to buy. Unlike the original digital-only edition however, Sony is giving owners of the PS5 Slim digital console the option of adding a Blu-ray disc drive, which will be sold separately.PS5 sales have been incredibly strong throughout the year thanks to the console no longer plagued by stock shortages. Earlier this week, it was reported that Sony’s console was outselling the Xbox Series X/S by at least 7:1 in select European regions.
