Sony Interactive Entertainment announced during its latest quarterly earnings report overnight that PS5 shipments have surpassed 21.7 million globally.The company’s flagship home console move 2.4 million units during the three-month period ended June 30, 2022. This represents a 0.1 million leap year-on-year, and also 0.4 million up on the previous quarter.However, Sony posted a decline in the number of software units sold and PlayStation Plus monthly active users.
