Developer Far From Home and Sony have just surprise dropped a PS Store demo for an upcoming sci-fi survival adventure. Forever Skies is an airship-themed first-person game in which players will build and fly their own airship to explore the ruins of earth both solo and cooperatively. The demo is single-player only, and PS Plus is not required.
Complete Forever Skies PS Store demo to unlock exclusive reward
Those who complete Forever Skies demo will be rewarded with a PS5 exclusive airship skin that can be used in the demo as well as the full game. The trial will take roughly two hours to complete and is designed to showcase Forever Skies’ “best features.”
“This custom snippet of our story and basic game progression takes around an hour if you follow the objectives,” Far From Home wrote on the PS Blog. “After that, you can continue to explore the world more freely, with a few open-world objectives to guide your sightseeing.”
Forever Skies’ PS5 version also utilizes exclusive DualSense features including adaptive triggers and haptic feedback.
Forever Skies is available on PC in early access. The full game was originally scheduled to launch on the PS5 in 2024, but has since been pushed to early 2025 with no definitive release date.
