Sony is offering limited-time PS Plus discount to select players in October 2024. However, as always, there’s a catch. A notice on the PS Plus website states that the 20% discount offer is available by “invite only,” and no one knows if this applies to new, current, or returning members.

The mystery offer is available now until October 22. It’s a weird one in that we haven’t seen any reports of players receiving email invites yet, and for the author, the notice only appears on the PS Plus website when it’s accessed through a mobile device.

The wording suggests that the offer is only available to those who “join” PS Plus — presumably for the first time — before October 22.
There are two possibilities here: 1. Those who already use PSN but have yet to join PS Plus may receive the invite. 2. Those who sign up to PSN for the first time before October 22 may get lucky and receive an invite shortly after they sign up.
Either way, this doesn’t seem to be an offer for returning and existing members, but we’ll update our readers when we have more information.
