Don’t worry everyone, we can all stop panicking. PlayStation Stars is back in North & South America, and with that is now back in all of PlayStation’s biggest regions. The reward program was shut down for longer than the time the entire PlayStation Network was down back in 2011, and began returning in regional rollouts 10 days ago at time of writing. Now it seems that rollout is ending with North and South America finally getting the service back after it was already restored in the UK, Europe, Asia, Japan and Australia.Sony has yet to present any reasons as to why it was down in the first place, and considering that the reward system might very well be something plenty of players ignore it wouldn’t be a shock if it never does say anything about the outage. For now at least, it’s back, and you can open the app and turn on your console to earn a few easy points by downloading a PS Plus game, opening it, waiting until the reward registers and promptly close and delete whatever you downloaded. Rinse and repeat long enough and you’ll get $25 of in store credit or just a brand new game out of it.Of course you could also try out the PS Plus games listed, that first method is just for anyone like the author of this article who has more Elden Ring to get back to.Source – [realradec on Twitter]
