PS Plus Essential’s January 2025 games have begun rolling out, and while the lineup hasn’t particularly been well received by members, there’s a PS Stars reward for playing any of the three games. Today’s refresh includes Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered, and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe (replaced by Deeeer Simulator in some regions).
Start any of the PS Plus Essential January games and get PS Stars points
Late last year, Sony began rolling out monthly PS Stars points campaigns that rewarded players anywhere between 50 points to 500 points simply for starting a game from the PS Plus Essential lineup. How many points players are rewarded vary from member to member.
With this month’s lineup rolling out now, the PS Stars campaign in question is also live. All players have to do is register for the campaign, and start any of the games mentioned above. 50 points are guaranteed at minimum.
While 50 points isn’t a lot, every little bit helps if you want to cash in your points for PS Store credit. With points now expiring, I’ve used smaller campaigns to my advantage when I was coming up short, managing to cash in before my points expired.
