Tim Schafer, the founder of Double Fine and the brain behind iconic games such as Grim Fandango, Full Throttle, and Psychonauts, has offered to help players unlock a viral achievement in Brütal Legend.Schafer will be online in Brutal Legend tomorrow (October 13th) to take on players in both casual and ranked matches and help them unlock the Six Degrees of Schafer achievement. To unlock this achievement, all you need to do is simply play a multiplayer match with another player who has the achievement — in this case, it will be the legendary Tim Schafer! As mentioned in the tweet above, to be in with a chance of playing with Schafer, you’ll need to reply to that tweet or DM the Double Fine account with your Gamertag, providing you’re not a “gnarly creep.” Schafer probably should have just set up a boosting session with us on TA to make things easier for himself, but we’ll let him off this time.
