Phil Spencer has praised Sony’s PS5 DualSense controller, saying that Microsoft has some work to do on its Xbox Wireless Controller and that it might take inspiration from the DualSense. As reported by VGC, Spencer said on the Kinda Funny Gamescast, “We’re definitely thinking about different kinds of devices that can bring more games to more places. There’s probably some work that we’ll do on the controller. I think Sony’s done a nice job with their controller, and we kind of look at some of that and [think] there are things that we should go do.”Microsoft stuck with what it knew for the new Series X|S controllers, making only slight changes from the previous Xbox One pad. On the other hand, Sony went all out with its PS5 DualSense controller, adding new features such as adaptive triggers, a built-in microphone, and haptic feedback. When a game implements these features to their fullest, it really does add another layer of immersion, making for a great gameplay experience. Would you like to see Microsoft include features like haptic feedback and adaptive triggers in its next Xbox controller? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
