Producer Atsushi Nomura takes to the camera in this developer diary, sharing his previous experience working on the long-running Persona series. He also introduces Persona 5 Tactica ’s story and gameplay, also providing background on the Phantom Thieves of Hearts and newcomers Erina and Toshiro.

While the main Persona series is part of the JRPG genre, Persona 5 Tactica was created from Atlus’ desire to create a game in the strategy role-playing genre. This studio also wanted to tap into the correlation between the genre and the rich world of Persona 5.
Strategy RPG won’t have to wait long until Persona 5 Tactica releases; the game is slated to release on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC via Windows and Steam on November 16. Pre-orders will include the Orpheus Picaro and Izanagi Picaro.
Note that the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game will include a new chapter. This content will introduce a new narrative that features returning characters Goro Akechi and Sumire Yoshizawa, along with remixed battle elements for players to explore.
