Patapon 1 & 2 Replay is coming to PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch on July 11, 2025, Bandai Namco and Sony Interactive Entertainment ave announced. The bundle repackages the original PSP rhythm-based adventure game alongside its sequel in remastered form.For those out of the loop, Patapon sees players commanding eyeball-like critters known as Patapons across environments using the rhythm of four Mystical Drums. Each of these cut little fellows possess unique attributes and classes, such as Hatapon, who is able to lead allies using a flag in the middle of the squad, or Tatepon, who uses a shield to protect his allies.Related Content – Upcoming PS5 Games 2025: The Best PS5 Games Coming Soon Both remasters feature all the content seen in the original releases, but now benefit from the ability to adjust the difficulty between Easy, Normal, and Hard, tweaking the timing of a button press, and keeping the drum icon displayed at all times.The original Patapon was released for the PSP in December 2007 in Japan, before making its way to the US and Europe in February 2008. Patapon 2 quickly followed in November 2008 in Japan and hit Europe and the US in March 2009 and May, respectively.
