We continue our look at the best champion combos in Overwatch.

After covering some of the top players in the world on specific heroes in part 1, it’s time to continue with part 2. Here, we’ll look at a few more names that stand out and share their most powerful heroes.

Keep in mind that the OWL League 2022 is underway, so some of the names here might change depending on their performance. Make sure to follow ESTNN for more information about the game as we continue to make sure to provide fresh content!

Let’s learn check out some of the top players with specific heroes and why it is important to keep an eye on their performance.

Seung-hyun “Ir1s” Kim  – Ana

Our previous article focused mainly on the DPS heroes, this time we’ll pay more attention to tanks and supports. Speaking of the devil, the first hero that comes to mind when talking about professional Overwatch is Ana. There have been all sorts of top-rated Ana players throughout the years; including Seung-hyun “Ir1s” Kim.

Ir1s is a well-known support player that has been a part of numerous top-rated teams. Although he used to be a part of Atlanta Reign and Third Impact, he is now playing for Houston Outlaws. Although his team could not win the OWL 2021, he was consistent with his Ana. Hence, he deserves to be on the list.

Of course, another player that we have to point out here is Min-chul “IZaYaKI” Kim. The support player from Shangai Dragons. He plays a terrific Ana and definitely played a key role for his team.

Petja “Masaa” Kantanen  – Lucio

Lucio is one of the support heroes that works in almost any meta. His insane mobility and the fact that he can counter many ultimates, make him an excellent option. Needless to say, many professional teams want to utilize him to his full potential, but only a few o them are successful. One of them is Vancouver Titans, and the player who has the honor of picking Lucio is Petja “Masaa” Kantanen.

Masaa is one of the most experienced players in Overwatch and one of the best supports in the world. Before becoming a part of Vancouver Titans in 2021, he played for Atlanta Reign for over three years. During that time, he won loads of essential events.

Aside from Masaa, we need to mention Jae-gon “LeeJaeGon” Lee — he was on another level throughout OWL 2021. Aside from his amazing healing, this is one of the most aggressive Lucio players globally. Unsurprisingly, he secured numerous kills for his team.

William “Crimzo” Hernandez – Baptiste

It may not be the go-to option for every team, but Baptiste is a powerful hero who can help the team when needed. The fact that he’s the only name in Overwatch that can save his team from dying thanks to his abilities makes him incredibly dangerous.

There are a couple of top-rated players with this hero, one of them is shu. However, we think that Crimzo is the one that should take the crown because of his stellar performance. The Canadian player was a part of Dallas Fuel and Houston Outlaws, but in 2021, he became a part of Boston Uprising. The team has yet to win some of the most important events in Overwatch, but it definitely has a bright future.

Xianyao “Yveltal” Li – Mercy

There are several Mercy players that are notorious for their unique skills and high-quality gameplay. Although this is not the hardest nor the most exciting hero to watch, one player makes it feel more impressive than it is, and that’s Xianyao “Yveltal” Li.

Also known as Xerneas, the Chinese Main Support player was a part of Team Chaser for two years. However, he decided to make a move to UP Academy a couple of days ago. The player always has good stats and shows everyone how to make the most of Mercy. Let’s also not forget that the Chinese player has one of the highest win rates with this hero.

Jung-won “Lastro” Mun – Zenyatta

There are a couple of popular flex-support players in Overwatch that deserve the crown for the best Zenyatta player. Although shu will probably be most people’s option, we will have to go with Lastro.

The Korean superstar is currently a part of Houston Outlaws, but he also played for Los Angeles Valiant and Toronto Defiant. Some people may remember him for his sich plays with Ana and Baptiste, but he is also an excellent player with Zenyatta.

While it is true that Zen is not the most popular support in the current meta, the hero is strong in some comps. By the looks of it, Zen will be an excellent option in OW 2, so we can’t wait to see him in action.

Minki “Viol2t” Park – Brigitte

There is no arguing that Brigitte is among the most annoying heroes in the game. She was the strongest support at one point, but she became a situational pick after subsequent nerfs. Needless to say, professional teams are usually happy when they can take advantage of her.

One of the players most notorious for his excellent skills on Brigitte is Minki “Viol2t” Park. The 22-year-old South Korean player is a part of San Francisco Shock and won loads of events throughout his career. Even though some people might recognize him for his aggressive plays with heroes like Baptiste, he is also a pretty good Brigitte player.

We also need to include Min-seok “skewed” Kim in this list because many players think he’s the best in the world with this hero.

Joon “Fielder” Kwon – Moira

Last but not least, we have the best Moira player in the world – Joon “Fielder” Kwon . The South Korean star is currently a part of Dallas Fuel and he has proven himself countless times over the years.

Fielder is among the few players in professional OWL who know exactly how to balance between healing and doing damage. Moira may not be the most interesting hero to watch or play, but once he gets his hands on her, she becomes incredibly strong.
