Overthrown and EA Sports WRC join Xbox Game Pass today, with the first releasing for Xbox Series X|S and PC as a Game Preview title and the latter available for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC via EA Play. You can lift and throw everything, for example, which means normal tasks like resource gathering take on a whole new aspect — especially since you can simply carry your sawmill to the trees instead of lugging back each tree to your town. We had the chance to talk to Overthrown developer Brimstone about bringing their game to Game Pass via Game Preview. “Game Pass is a great opportunity for Overthrown to reach a wide audience already on Day 1! We are really excited to come to the platform,” Brimstone tells us. “Having sooo many players play our game via Xbox Game Pass will allow us to see how players play and behave, which might become a spark for other ideas that we can implement. We can’t wait to get the game into people’s hands.”EA Sports WRC joins Game Pass via EA Play todayEA Sports WRC boasts over 200 stages and the options of playing through Career, Championship, Time Trial, and more. It launched over a year ago now, so we have enough data for a completion estimate of around 25 to 30 hours. EA Sports WRC has so far been completed by only 3% of tracked gamers here on TrueAchievements, but we’ll no doubt see a big boost in players racing after the completion after the game joins Xbox Game Pass Ultimate via EA Play.We spoke with Brimstone in more detail about their plans for Overthrown achievements, as well as about Overthrown’s gameplay and the inspirations behind it.
