Annapurna Interactive and developer Mobius Digital have announced that the critically-acclaimed space exploration game, Outer Wilds, is getting a free Xbox Series X|S upgrade.Outer Wilds is coming to Xbox Series X|S and PS5 on September 15th, and what’s more, if you already own the game on Xbox One or PS4, you’ll get the current-gen version for free.Outer Wilds will finally be playable at 60fps on Xbox Series X|SThe Xbox Series X|S version will finally let players explore the strange and mysterious universe of Outer Wilds at a buttery-smooth 60fps — something a lot of fans of the game have been waiting for. Annapurna and Mobius haven’t said if the Series X|S version will include any other visual enhancements. Outer Wilds’ free Xbox Series X|S upgrade was revealed during Annapurna Interactive’s latest showcase where the publisher also announced five new games for Xbox Game Pass, a free Series X|S upgrade for What Remains of Edith Finch, and that The Pathless is coming to Xbox.
