The delay follows recent playtests, which saw players flag issues with Commandos: Origin’s AI behavior, performance, voiceovers, and more. “The Commandos franchise has always been rooted in tactical precision; offering different approaches to solve versatile missions,” Claymore studio director Jürgen Reusswig said via a press release. “The teams at Claymore Game Studios and Kalypso Media are fully committed to honoring this legacy. With the valuable feedback we have collected from our devoted community, we’re now making the final adjustments needed to deliver the best possible tactical experience for our players.”During the extra development time, Claymore Game Studios will add new performance optimizations to “address frame rate concerns for a smoother game experience,” while NPC responsiveness will be updated with enhanced AI.
