Oppo just unveiled its Reno7 series in China with the Reno7 5G, Reno7 Pro 5G and Reno7 SE 5G. The first sales begin on December 3 at 10:00 for the Reno7 and Reno7 Pro and December 17 at 10:00 for the Reno7 SE.

Reno7 Pro 5G

The Oppo Reno7 Pro 5G is the best of the three Reno7 phones. It sports the MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Max chipset mated to either 8GB or 12GB of RAM. Both configurations start at 256GB of storage.

On the front, the Reno7 Pro 5G has a 6.55-inch AMOLED with 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch-sampling rate and an embedded fingerprint scanner. The screen has 1080p resolution and can reach up to 800 nit brightness in direct sunlight.

At the back are a 50MP Sony IMX766 1/1.56-inch main camera, an ultrawide unit, and a 2MP macro shooter. There’s a 32MP IMX709 selfie camera at the front.

The camera island is ringed by a breathing LED that doubles as a notification LED. Oppo ships the phones with ColorOS 12, based on Android 12.

Oppo Reno7 Pro 5G

The Reno7 Pro 5G has a 4,500mAh battery with 65W charging. Prices for the 8/256GB and 12/256GB are CNY 3,699 and CNY 3,999.

Reno7 5G

The Oppo Reno7 5G shares many of the Pro’ specs. Its battery has the same 4,500mAh capacity, but it charges a bit slower at 60W.

The Reno7 5G also has a 90Hz 1080p AMOLED, but it’s smaller at 6.43-inches.

The main camera has a 64MP sensor, but it’s still joined by 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro units. On the front, it’s the same 32MP selfie.

The processor inside is a Snapdragon 778G with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM with an option of 8/128GB, 8/256GB or 12/256GB configured storage.

The Reno7 5G’s prices start from CNY 2,699.

Reno7 SE 5G

At last, we come to the Reno7 SE 5G. It has the same 6.43-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate as the Reno7 5G. It also matches the 4,500mAh battery capacity, only it charges at just 33W.

There’s a Dimensity 900 with 8GB of RAM and an option of either 128GB or 256GB of storage.

The cameras are a 48MP IMX581, paired to a duo of 2MP sensors – one for macro, the other for depth sensing.

There’s no word yet on when the Reno7 series will make it out of China, but it should be in early 2022.
