Ooblets launched into Early Access a year ago today, and is celebrating that fact with a mini-update featuring party hats and a photo booth system.The update is already live on the Epic Games Store, and should arrive for Xbox players later today. In it, you can head to a photo booth with your little Ooblet pals, all decked out in party hats, and get ready to take some pictures. It’s not the first mini-update GlumberLand has released, as last week brought us another smaller update to let us change the wallpaper and flooring in each room, rather than for the whole house. According to the Ooblets roadmap, we only have two major updates left: v0.9, the “secret update,” which arrives later this year with a new region and a continuation of the story, and then the full launch of the whole game, with another new region, either late this year or early 2022. We won’t have the Ooblets achievement list until nearer to the full launch of the game, but what we know so far is that the Ooblets achievements will “follow the in-game goals”, with Glumberland’s Ben Wasser adding, “I wouldn’t expect any super difficult achievements.” We’ll be sure to update you when we know more.
