Bandai Namco has announced One Piece Odyssey, an upcoming RPG which will launch for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, PS4, and PC later this year. Check out the announcement trailer below:”One Piece Odyssey is an RPG project filled with the unique elements of adventure from One Piece that has been highly desired by fans. This project has been in the works for many years so that fans can truly touch the world of One Piece and now is ready to be unveiled,” Bandai Namco says.The team adds that One Piece Odyssey “is coming as the original manga prepares to celebrate its 25th anniversary,” and that the characters and monsters were designed in cooperation with One Piece author Eiichiro Oda. “During their journey, the Straw Hats headed by Monkey D. Luffy are swallowed by a huge storm at sea and end up on a mysterious island full of nature amidst the storm, separated from each other, with the Thousand Sunny completely broken,” we’re told. “The crew sets out on a new adventurous journey filled with wonders of a raging nature, powerful enemies, and strange encounters with the island locals. Players will have to work together with Luffy and the members of his crew to set sail once again!”We don’t yet have a release date, but One Piece Odyssey launches for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, PS4, and PC later this year.
