Have you been missing tormenting your co-workers over the last year? Well, Office Jerk is here to help you out. It’s a game that involves you throwing various items at another worker – from staplers to bee hives, from scrunched up balls of paper to octopuses.
It’s a simple idea, but there are a few extra layers you’re going to have to consider if you want to get the most out of the experience. And that’s why we’ve written this guide. It’s packed full of all the hints, tips and tricks you’re going to need to make you the biggest office jerk in the world.
Whether you’ve just tossed your first phone at your office enemy’s head, or you’ve been throwing things for a while, you’re going to find something here to help you out. So let’s do this, shall we? These are the best hints, tips and cheats for Office Jerk.
Check the fan direction and speed
You’re going to have to change your throw depending on the direction and speed of the fan. You can check this by looking at the blue numbers at the bottom of the screen. It’s always obvious which side of the screen the fan is on, but it can change its speed, so make sure you keep an eye on the data.
Use different items
Keep throwing different items to keep things interesting. Different items have different achievements allocated to them, and you’ll get different reactions as well. You can scroll through your items with the arrows, or tap the cluster of junk in the bottom right of the screen to see them in a list.
Keep an eye on the background
Often items will pop up in the background. Tap on them and you’ll be able to throw them at your co-worker until you miss. It’s a good way to get new reactions and achievements and it adds a little bit of hidden-object fun into the mix as well.
Scratch to win
Scratch cards are a good way to get new items and extra coins. You’ll get free scratches every day so make sure you use them whenever you can. Oftentimes you won’t win, but it’s worth having a go when the attempts aren’t going to cost you anything.
What are the coins for?
You can spend the coins on unlocking new items to throw. They’re not cheap though, and it does take a while to grind up your coins. There are videos you can watch to earn more, and you can perform certain tasks to get coins as well. You can access both of these options on the right hand of the screen.
