Esports betting services provider Oddin.gg has announced that it will start supporting a new game, Valve’s upcoming shooter Deadlock. This makes the company the first of its kind to support the new game.

According to Oddin.gg, the company has already integrated its services with a recent tournament in Deadlock featuring streamers, and Deadlock will be a standard offering for Oddin.gg in the future.

ESI Lisbon 2024

Deadlock is an upcoming action game developed by Valve, described as a crossover between a MOBA and a hero shooter. The game is still in early development, but has attracted significant attention through its playtesting phase that commenced in 2023. The game had, at one point, around 100,000 concurrent players, a big milestone as players can only access the game by being invited by a friend.

The addition of Deadlock to Oddin.gg’s portfolio shows that the company wants to leverage good timing to get a head start on betting in the game. During the unnamed streamer tournament, Oddin.gg offered seven services (markets) for bettors to try out. These include map and match winner, match score, number of maps won, handicaps and other metrics.

According to Oddin.gg, Deadlock has been integrated into the company’s portfolio, and matches will be available through the same feed as all other sports for existing clients. It is still unknown when Deadlock will be officially released, but Oddin.gg has noted that it aims to monitor and expand the support for the game as it grows, allowing its partners across the world to offer Deadlock betting and being one of the first to do so.

Oddin.gg is one of the most-known esports betting services providers, offering its services to a wide range of partners around the world. The company is a partner of tournament organisers PGL and Skyesports, as well as sports technology company Sportradar and numerous other small and large betting companies.
