Gaming tournament and training platform Nicecactus has teamed up with Kenyan esports platform Wolfie Sports.
The three-year deal will see both entities collaborate to launch an online tournament platform in Africa.

According to the release, Vodafone-owned mobile banking provider Mpesa will also partner with Nicecactus and Wolfie Sports to provide mobile payment solutions.
Through the new platform, Nicecactus and Wolfie Sports intend to deliver tournaments in multiple games, whilst also providing data-driven training and advanced tracking technology to help players improve.
Mike Hessabi, CEO of Nicecactus, commented: “Our gaming platform is unique in that we offer tournament solutions, but also provide a training academy so players can improve no matter what region they reside in.

In addition, both parties will collaborate on business development opportunities and B2B commercial services in Sub Saharan Africa.

Earlier this year, Nicecactus partnered with Sheikh Suhail Bin Butti Al Maktoum and Faris Ahmad Ramadhan Juma to expand its activities in the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) region.
