Rumor has it that Xbox is set to announce the release date of its next PS5 game today, but there’s already bad news for some fans. According to a known insider, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will come with a disc, but players will still be required to download the full game and content.
Xbox’s Indiana Jones will include PS5 game disc in both standard and premium editions – report
This report comes from trusty insider billbil-kun, so rest assured, it’s likely to be true. Recent Xbox releases on PS5 have come without a disc, so while it’s nice to have a physical version this time around, having a disc with merely a license on it isn’t what many would have hoped for.
Billbil-kun further claims that both the standard and special editions of Indiana Jones will come with a disc.
While it isn’t unusual for Microsoft to release game discs with licenses on them, it’s a bit of a departure for MachineGames. If true, this development reflects a change in policy for publisher Bethesda following its acquisition.
As a reminder, Indiana Jones is a single-player game with no multiplayer content.
We’ll update our readers when we have more information about Indiana Jones and the Great Circle’s PS5 launch.
