A recently released PS5, PS4 horror game now has a free demo for all players, no PS Plus Premium required. Brought to us by Silent Hill and Gravity Rush creator Keiichiro Toyama, Slitterhead released to mixed reviews, but fans say it’s one of the most underrated games of 2024.
PS5, PS4 demo version of horror game Slitterhead allows save data transfer
The demo is now live for both platforms on the PS Store. We’re not told what the freebie entails and how much content players can expect, but Bokeh Game Studio has enabled save data transfer. The demo will allow players to adjust difficulty settings, which will also transfer to the full game, should players purchase it.
Both PS5 and PS4 versions of Slitterhead are currently 30% off in the latest PS Store sale. Until January 7, 2025, players can grab the game for $34.99, following which it will revert back to its original price of $49.99.
Bokeh Game Studio wasn’t thrilled with Slitterhead’s reception, and raised a few eyebrows when it responded sarcastically to an article about studio closures necessitating the need for smaller, creative games.
Over on X, the studio quote tweeted the article and said, “How about starting off by giving us a better rating?” Many saw the tweet as an attempt to influence review scores. The tweet has since been deleted.
