A new app has launched that promises to offer gamers a more streamlined experience when it comes to playing their favourite mobile games.
Described by the app developers as the ‘Casual-Gamerverse’, Bloop promises to remove many of the irritations that come from playing io games on your device. These are typically free-to-play, browser-based games like Angry Birds, Candy Crush and Jetpack Joyride.
Typical issues are things such as pop-up ads that interrupt your flow, or having to delete old games to make room on your phone for a new one. And when your phone memory gets full, that can have a detrimental impact on how well your phone works. Bloop is designed to make all of that a distant memory.
The app itself is designed to be small, taking up only a very limited amount of room on your device. And it curates many of your favourite games within one app, making it easier to find and play whichever game takes your fancy. And arguably most importantly, Bloop says that games are “ad-free”.
Bloop curates games into easy-to-navigate genres, including Action, Arcade, Puzzles, Racing, Shooting, Strategy and Trivia. By doing this, they hope to make it much faster for you to find existing games that you know and love, plus new games in categories that you enjoy playing.
They will also be experimenting to introduce other features as the app continues to grow, including tournaments, streaming, and multiplayer games.

Interestingly, Bloop is available to gamers for free. Access to all the games in the app is free, and players won’t have to deal with any apps. Which, you’ll probably agree, can be more than a little irritating.
The app is currently available in Beta stage at the moment, which means that it isn’t the finished article just yet.
But if you’re interested in exploring casual games while removing many of the most annoying features of these kinds of games, then Bloop may just be the solution to a problem you didn’t even know you had.You can download Bloop and explore it for yourself by going here.
