As part of this week’s Geeked Week presentations, Netflix has revealed several trailers for animated TV shows based on video games. Take a look below for trailers for Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, Devil May Cry, Splinter Cell: Deathwatch, and a teaser for an unnamed Cyberpunk show. Tomb Raider, Devil May Cry, Splinter Cell, and Cyberpunk Netflix trailersThe first show of the bunch that we’ll see arrive on Netflix is Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, which takes place after the events of the Survivor Trilogy — Tomb Raider (2013), Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider — and will join Netflix on October 10. Following that, in April 2025, Devil May Cry will arrive from Studio Mir, the team behind The Legend of Korra, and Netflix’s Castlevania series showrunner, Adi Shankar. As for the surprising Splinter Cell: Deathwatch trailer, very little is known about the show other than that it’s coming soon. It’s being made by Netflix and Ubsoft Film & Television — which is also making the upcoming live-action Watch Dogs movie — and stars Liev Schreiber as the sneaky Sam Fisher. We also got a surprise and completely uninformative trailer for a mysterious Cyberpunk show. All it says is that we’ll “Return to Night City,” so whether this is linked to the successful Cyberpunk Edgerunners shows or not is currently unclear. Outside of Netflix, there are other exciting adaptions on the way from a couple of these franchises. Amazon is working on a live-action Tomb Raider TV show, and CD Projekt Red is working with Anonymous Content on a live-action Cyberpunk project.
