Nebraska football fans want to replace Scott Frost as their head coach over message boards.
After seeing the Nebraska football team lose its Week 0 game vs. Illinois, the Cornhusker fanbase already has replacements in mind for failing head coach Scott Frost.
This is Frost’s fourth year leading his alma mater but has never finished better than tied for fifth in the Big Ten West. Nebraska has yet to go to a bowl game under his leadership. After losing at Illinois on Saturday, Nebraska message board members have gone off the deep end with coaches they want to see replace Frost.
From Jim Harbaugh to Tom Herman to Will Muschamp, it is all there.
We are not even to Week 1 yet and we look to be in for one heck of a Nebraska football season.
The kicker is one Nebraska football fan pining for Urban Meyer to leave the Jacksonville Jaguars and call Lincoln home.
Nebraska football fans already have some Scott Frost replacements in mind
While Nebraska may need to cut bait with Frost at the end of the season, it is not like Harbaugh or Iowa State’s Matt Campbell would come to Lincoln. Taylor could come back to his alma mater if he gets the axe from the Cincinnati Bengals, but again, why would you want to replace a former Nebraska quarterback with another? Maybe you give Billy Napier a call or hire one of the retreads?
What has happened to the Nebraska football program in the last decade has been nothing short of a total disaster. Leaving the Big 12 for the Big Ten was a mistake. While getting rid of the triple-option made sense, that was the Cornhuskers’ identity forever. For now, they are consistently one of the five worst teams in the Big Ten and something has to give at some point for the team, right?
Replacing Frost makes sense, but Harbaugh is not coming and why do you want Will Muschamp?
