My Time at Sandrock is coming to mobile! The good news is that My Time at Sandrock is going to host a beta test exclusively on Android soon. And the not-so-good news is that it’s only happening in China this time.
In case you haven’t heard of this game yet, it’s a farm life sim RPG that dropped on PC in 2023. Developed by Pathea Games, it’s the sequel to 2019’s My Time at Portia. On Steam, it’s published by PM Studios and Focus Entertainment while on mobile (in China), the test is getting handled by Conscience Studio.
When Is the My Time at Sandrock Android Beta Test?
This will be the first-ever test on mobile for the fame. The devs are calling it a technical trial run to see how well the expansive game fits into a mobile format. They’re still tweaking things like resource loading and optimization, so expect a few bumps along the way.
This small-scale, exclusive test for Android users is happening through the Haoyou Kuaibao platform. If you are in China, you have until January 22nd to apply. The actual Android beta test for My Time at Sandrock kicks off on January 23rd.
Your saves will be wiped once the test ends. However, you can start fresh and go on a new adventure after finishing the initial 30 days of in-game content, which covers the first 13 chapters. If you’re interested in testing the game out (and if you happen to be in China), then check out the official beta test page.
What’s the Story?
My Time at Sandrock takes place in a post-apocalyptic desert 300 years after the Day of Calamity. It’s an unfortunate event that destroyed modern technologies. You step into Sandrock as the town’s newest Builder, armed with your tools.
Your tasks include the usuals, like gathering resources, crafting machines, befriending locals and even battling some monsters. The game’s art is really quirky and adorable. Speaking of which, you can catch a glimpse of it right below!
