Player First Games has revealed that it will be bringing back certain features missing from MultiVersus that were present in the open beta, after the game was brought back after nearly a year-long hiatus. However, some players are a bit miffed that certain elements are missing from MultiVersus, and have taken to social media to voice their frustrations. These features include missing team colour options, the ability to test characters before purchasing them, leaderboards, and post-battle reports.Addressing these complaints on X, MultiVersus Game Director, Tony Huynh, commented:Some of the missing settings and features from the open beta are incoming. Team colors, end of game stats, swapping side and neutral attack, adjustable input buffer settings, etc. Many of these features are currently implemented and are in testing and we had planned, but were left out due to time as we had to rebuild every screen and feature again to support our new netcode and Unreal Engine 5 switch.Related Content — Upcoming PS5 Games 2024: The Best PS5 Games Coming Soon Earlier this month, Huynh addressed the topic of dataminers, something which MultiVersus is no stranger to given the amount of unannounced content that has been discovered as a result of people gigging around in the game code.
