Mr. Prepper is releasing on Friday, December 10th, and features survival gameplay, crafting, and adventure, as you attempt to fight for survival and build an underground shelter for the apocalypse. With the holidays fast approaching, and so too the impending influx of loved ones that you may, or in some cases, may not want to be stuck in a room with, this certainly seems like a fitting title to become available just before that festive judgment day. Developed by Rejected Games, Mr. Prepper follows the story of a man living with the fear of an impending nuclear war. In preparation for the apocalyptic event, players must help Mr. Prepper build a bunker using a robust shelter construction system, craft various items — like a rocket — and explore the surrounding area. The game features a side-view camera, atmospheric setting, and a story full of a “specific brand of humour.” Mr. Prepper made its debut on Steam back in March, and currently holds a ‘Very Positive’ rating on the platform out of almost 3,000 reviews. It’s set to launch on December 10th for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, with PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch following some time in 2022. Will you be preparing for the end times over the holidays?
