Call of Duty still reigns supreme on our latest Xbox gameplay chart after claiming the top spot last week, and there’s no budging from any of the top ten until we get to eighth place. It seems quite a few of you have been hunting after the Valorant achievements, as it’s jumped up from 15th after launching for Xbox Series X|S following its recent beta.Elden Ring, meanwhile, has dropped out of the top ten to 12th. It’s not alone, as The First Descendant has slipped down a few places even after its first big Xbox update, with Forza Horizon 5 and Overwatch 2 falling too. There’s the usual reshuffling further down the chart, with Black Ops 3 and Forza Motorsport in particular moving up a fair bit (Black Ops 3 has jumped up seven places to 25th while Forza Motorsport has jumped up five spots to 26th), and Starfield moving up four spots to 31st. We know from the Xbox team’s plans for Gamescom that Starfield’s Shattered Space DLC will make an appearance, while Bethesda’s latest trademark suggests Starborn could be the next Starfield DLC, so it’ll be interesting to see how Starfield fares on the chart in future. After a big jump last week thanks to its Worlds Part 1 update arriving for Xbox, No Man’s Sky has this week fallen eight places to 32nd. 7 Days to Die, meanwhile, has re-joined the chart at 33rd. This is an interesting one — the initial Xbox One version was set to be delisted to make room the for the new Xbox Series X|S version, which arrived after the PC version left early access. The next reappearance is from For Honor, which is back at 35th, while Black Ops 2 has managed to climb up from 40th to 37th. Palworld, too, has moved up one spot, but XDefiant has taken a real tumble, falling ten places to 39th, with Warframe rounding up the chart at 40th.Top 40 Xbox Gameplay Chart for the week ending August 4, 2024Chart compiled using gameplay data from over 2.4 million active Xbox accounts.
