Developer NetherRealm has announced that Mortal Kombat 11 won’t receive any new DLC in the future as the developer is now focusing its efforts on a new game. “NetherRealm is now focusing on its next project and after more than two years of supporting Mortal Kombat 11, DLC for the game, including characters, has come to an end,” the developer announced in a tweet. This news means that Kombat Pack 2, which added characters Mileena, Rain, and Rambo in November last year, was the game’s final DLC update. The developer also released an enhanced version of the game, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate Edition, on Xbox Series X|S, which included all previous DLC expansions and characters. NetherRealm hasn’t revealed anything on what it’s working on, but rumours floating around the internet suggest it’s another superhero fighting game.
