Monster Hunter Now has dropped a seasonal update, the 2025 Spring Festival. Starting April 14th and running through April 27th, there is a bunch of new stuff happening in the game. There is also some new gear, and one aggressive monster is making its debut.
Who’s the New Monster?
It’s Ebony Odogaron who isn’t just a reskin and is nastier than the usual version. The regular Odogaron oozing black smoke from its mouth is what makes an Ebony version of itself. It shows up basically everywhere like forests, deserts, swamps and tundra.
Ebony has a meaner attitude and a wider roaming area, so don’t expect an easy fight. During the Monster Hunter Now Spring Festival 2025, you’ll also run into Kulu-Ya-Ku and a few other familiar monsters. It’s all part of the event’s quests.
There are Spring and Rainbow Eggs to collect during the event. You’ll get them by taking down monsters or hopping into the special Hunt-a-thons. The eggs are tradeable at the Event Exchange Hub for some amazing items.
Celebrate Spring Festival 2025 with Monster Hunter Now
April 18th is when things are getting even better. Giant Egg Toys will start showing up in Hunt-a-thons and breaking them will get you a big stash of exchangeable Eggs.
Also, there are limited-time quests running throughout the event with some nice exclusives. If you complete them, you can unlock a Spring Festival 2025 medal, a special Guild Card background and Spring 2025 Armor and Weapon Tickets.
