Game developer MOONTON Games has unveiled its 2025 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports roadmap.
Announced during the industry conference M6 Summit in Malaysia, the roadmap details when MLBB’s flagship events will take place as well as highlights prominent third-party tournaments.

The competition will once again be centred around MOONTON Games’ two major international events — the MLBB Mid Season Cup (MSC) and M World Championship. However, next year, the M7 World Championship will not take place in 2025.
The developer revealed that the world championship will return in January 2026 instead, while MSC is set to take place from mid-July to early August 2025.
Despite the game’s world championship being moved to 2026, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang will still have a prominent competition in December 2025. The 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games 2025 in Thailand will occur in mid-December, with MLBB having medalled events for both men’s and women’s categories.
Another third-party tournament that MOONTON Games noted in its 2025 esports calendar is the Snapdragon Pro Series, ESL FACEIT Group and Qualcomm’s multi-title mobile esports ecosystem.
As with previous years, MOONTON’s two international events will be accompanied by the MLBB Professional League (MPL) half-yearly esports circuits.
Currently, MLBB has official MPL competitions in Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, LATAM and MENA. Mobile Legends has also expanded further into China following the game’s approval in 2023. Teams representing CIS, North America, Turkey and Myanmar were also present at the M6 World Championship.
Mike Chu, Head of Regional Esports & China at MOONTON Games, stated: “MLBB’s global expansion continued in 2024 with the establishment of the Chinese league. We are excited to witness one of the world’s gaming powerhouses test their strength in the MLBB esports ecosystem.”
Alongside the roadmap reveal, MOONTON Games also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Jordan Esports Federation (JEF) at the M6 Summit. Aimed to develop Jordan’s gaming and esports ecosystem, the agreement will see both parties host MLBB esports events and educational programmes.
