Monster-collecting open-world RPG Cassette Beasts from Bytten Studio is now available on PC Game Pass, offering a colourful turn-based adventure across the island of New Wirral.Developed by Bytten Studio and published by Raw Fury, Cassette Beasts sees us helping the fine folks of New Wirral fight back against the monsters plaguing their island home. The game joins PC Game Pass today but is expected to launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox Game Pass later this year.Cassette Beasts launches on PC todayJoining many of the best games like Pokémon on PC today, Cassette Beasts arms us with retro tapes to record the creatures roaming the island so we can use them as a means to gain their abilities and transform for turn-based combat. By using the game’s fusion feature, we’re able to fuse any two monsters together to create a powerful amalgamation of the two, combining their strengths for unique powers — some of which we can use in human form when exploring the colourful island.While we don’t currently have a release date for the console version, you can be sure we’ll let you know once an expected time has been announced.
