Microsoft announces new Xbox Stereo Headset

The newest iteration of the Xbox Stereo Headset has just been announced and comes packed with on-ear controls, Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos, and more. The headset will launch on September 21st for $59.99/£54.99/€59.99, with preorders now live on the Microsoft Store.Microsoft announced the new Xbox Stereo Headset over on Xbox Wire. The headset comes in the same design style as the recently released Xbox Wireless Headset. This version is wired and stereo so doesn’t come with all of the surround sound bells and whistles its bigger sibling does. The Xbox Stereo Headset, however, still comes with a heap of features for its price point, including support for spatial sound technologies such as Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos, and DTS Headphone: X. As we noted previously, these headphones have the same design as the wireless offering so expect to see the on-ear controls for ease of access when adjusting the volume or muting, adjustable cushioned headband, clear microphone performance, and larger earcups for comfort.
